ezDanza is an ensemble of talented dancers that perform the work of Mexican-born choreographer, Edgar Zendejas. The choreographic works he creates are lush, expressive, beautiful poems in movement that engage audiences of all ages. A choreographer in high demand his works are in the repertories of BJM_[Danse], Cedar Lake Ensemble, Luna Negra Dance Theater, and DanceWorks Chicago. Edgar’s remarkably beautiful duet, Sonata de Luna, won the Grand Prix du Jury et du Public award at the Defi de l’Excellence Mondor in Trois-Rivieres. The ezDanza repertory also includes I And Other, Alegria, Merge, Sada, and Gardez L’eau! have quickly become audience favorites.
